What is the difference between HCNP-R&S(HCDP)-Fast-Track and HCNP-R&S (HCDP)?

The HCDP is the old name of HCNP-R&S certification exam. It was been replaced already some time ago by HCNP-R&S. In another word, you should take HCNP-R&S certification because you won't find any training or exam information anymore on Huawei site for 'HCDP'. In fact, HCNP-R&S(HCDP) Fast Track is a quick certification exam.

There are 2 exam options to get HCNP-R&S certification.

1. Pass the 3 required exams (H12-221, H12-222 and H12-223) respectively in routing (IERN), switching (IESN) and network performance (IENP).

2. Take 1 fast track exam H12-224 to achieve HCNP-R&S certification. Just only for engineers that already have a valid, equivalent level or higher level certification from another vendor (for example Cisco CCNP or CCIE).

 H12-224 HCNP-R&S certification

Please note that the fast track exam is ONLY allowed for engineers that meet the requirement of having equivalent level or higher level certification from another vendor (you will be asked to send proof of this upon applying for your certification!). If you don't meet this requirement, then take the 3 regular exams to get HCNP-R&S certification.

However, the main difference of the direction development is different, advanced routing exchange in Huawei is divided into two directions. If you worked in this Huawei field the treatment is almost the same but from the long-term consideration just suggested HCNP-Cloud. After all, the HCNP-Cloud is the future big direction. Whatever the direction you will be selected, clear your certification exam test is the first step.
